Tips for your stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian
Sandals Royal Bahamian Room Tip:
The Manor and Windsor Buildings are both perpendicular to the beach with the very front of the buildings at the beach. In between are the 2 huge swim up pool bars, restaurants, bars and public areas. The Royal Village is in the back, furthest from the beach. This property is not very spread out, so even from the Royal Villas you’re still just a very short walk to the beach.
Nassau is often referred to as the New York City of the Caribbean. The people are very friendly, but not exactly the same relaxed island vibe you’ll find in places like Jamaica and St Lucia.
All pools are heated, which can come in handy sometimes in December, January and February. In these 3 months casual summer wear is good during the day, but be sure and bring a jacket or sweater for the cooler evenings.
Make sure you pack properly for evening dining. Some restaurants will require resort evening attire: dress pants/trousers or jeans for men, long or short sleeve dress shirts (with or without collar), dress shoes or sandals, no shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers, flip flops or slippers, no hats nor caps.
